Explore the beautiful old center of Málaga with a small group during this verry complete food tour. Fien or Andy takes you to the most emblematic bars and restaurants in the old town; we start at the oldest bar in town to try a sweet wine, then visiting the most colorful foodmarket to have typical fried fish, we have a look in one of the few 'ultramarinos' shops left in Malaga where we have a vermuth and the typical dried tuna (mojama). At or next stop we have home-made croquetas of iberian ham, Malaga-salad and meatballs in almand-sauce and why not having a 'tinto de verano' with it ? And of course you can't leave Malaga without having some tapas in an authentic tapas-bar! During your walk between the different restaurants and bars you get all the information about the buildings we pass. 3.5 hr Walking tour with a local expert; drinks and tapas included. Start at 11.15am With this tour you will see all the highlights of Málaga-center with his famous historical buildings. But there is much more; you will not only learn about the past but also about the present trough some anecdotes that only a local can tell you. We start with a visit to the most important market of Málaga 'Atazaranas' full of colors and scents from the fresh products . And how about having a glimp of the oldest bar in town with his locals and visitors ? You will see one of the first churches built after the moorish period. Always wanted to know where the locals buy there 'Flamenco'-suit ; we show you. At the former town square we not just talk about the surrounding buildings but tell you some interesting stories of this place before going trough the small corridor of Las Chinitas. You will not see only the entrance of the Picasso-museum but also the birthplace of this famous artist. Seeing the best kept Alcazaba (moorish fortress) of Spain is ofcourse one of the highlights to see just like the one-armed catedral of Málaga. We certainly don't forget to show you the Roman theater. To end this tour we go to the most important shoppingstreet of Málaga; the Larios. During this tour there is also time to try out some local drinks and share some tapas; 3 of each are included.
